Inspired by the soft, creamy texture of Beijing-style milk skin yogurt and the light, balanced flavors of traditional Northern Vietnamese yogurt — our homemade version brings the best of both worlds in every spoonful. Made with whole milk, whipping cream, and premium milk powder, it’s slow-fermented without gelatin or preservatives to create a thick, velvety yogurt crowned with a delicate milk skin on top. Mildly sweet, naturally rich in probiotics and calcium — both nourishing and satisfying.

Great food and not just your average Vietnamese beef noodle house. Lots of unique selection. Clean and bright. Go on Mondays and get the 15% discount. Street Front FREE Parking on street. They make their own yogurt desert too. Do check out their crab spring rolls and chicken wings and deep fried cuttle fish .Unfortunately the food was too inviting so my chopsticks were quicker than my camera. Do not skip their deserts. Happy eating. Thank God for food and multiculturalism in Vancouver.
Crab Hot Lau brings authentic Vietnamese flavors to life with their famous hotpot dishes. It’s usually crowded, showing just how popular it is. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, adding to the good vibes. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but totally worth it for the taste and experience. Definitely worth checking out!
Update: I have visited this restaurant several times since my first visit and have tried their hot pot and a variety of other dishes. The hot pot is definitely good, as are their other main dishes. Their appetizers are unique, but they don’t quite suit my taste. I believe they are currently promoting a Thai dessert sweet soup that is not on the menu. If you can tolerate the strong smell of durian, you might want to give it a try, as it tastes good. -- Every time I drive along Kingsway, I am always captivated by the vibrant sign of this restaurant. Finally, the opportunity arose for me to step inside and indulge in its offerings. Upon entering, I noticed that while the interior decoration of the shop is not extravagant, it exudes a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, inviting patrons to unwind and enjoy their meal. Turning my attention to the menu, I discovered that this establishment distinguishes itself from typical Vietnamese restaurants by specializing in seafood. One dish that particularly stood out to me was their crab spring rolls. The delicate crunch of the spring roll wrapper perfectly complemented the succulent filling, bursting with flavor. Additionally, the pickled vegetables served alongside the dipping sauce added a delightful tanginess to each bite. Their rice field crab vermicelli soup also tastes good. It has a various combination of ingredients in the soup, and I enjoy the crunchiness the most. As I savored each dish, I couldn't help but appreciate the attention to detail and quality evident in every bite. Overall, I am very satisfied with their dishes, and the prices are acceptable. Next time, if I have the chance, I will definitely come and try their specialty hot pot.
I usually stick to pho or banh mi when I visit Vietnamese restaurants, but today’s experience really impressed me. Everything I ordered was delicious, and I truly enjoyed every dish. It was my first time trying northern Vietnamese cuisine, and it definitely won me over. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the interesting dishes on their menu. The servers were also very helpful in recommending dishes, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Located roughly along the halfway point down Kingsway in Vancouver, this Vietnamese spot is well known for their deep fried crab cakes. From the moment we sat in their spacious dining area, we were within eyeshot of two televisions, running promo videos of their crab cakes being made in the kitchen, along with other delicious Vietnamese staples. The music’s booming out from an oversized Bluetooth speaker, emanating colours of the rainbow. It was quite a place for the senses, as we took everything in while waiting for our dinner to arrive. Aside from their signature Crab Cakes, we also ordered a Raw Beef Salad, and their Snail Soup (a cousin to the South Western Chinese 螺蛳粉 noodle dish). Everything was delicious. The combination of fresh leafy greens, tangy fish sauce dip and the crisp meaty morsels of the Crab Cake was hard to beat. The Raw Beef Salad was punchy on flavour with a nutty crunchy finish. The Snail Soup was subtle but equally delicious with its mix of herbs and seasoning. Overall, a great place to dine. The dishes lived up to expectations while not being too pricey. Keep this place in mind the next time you are out in the suburbs.
Already felt like home visiting this place for the first time, I was blown away by they staff’s hospitality. Food was spot on, really authentic, as good as what you could expect what a real taste of Vietnamese crab soup is. They also have house-made “che”, a traditional Vietnamese sweet dessert, using all natural ingredients Can’t recommend enough! You gotta give it a try folks! Thank you co Aimee, co Thuy and co Ngoc for the wonderful experience!!!
The menu is impressive and the food is authentic. We got banh đa cua đong (field crab noodle) and chao ech Singapore (frog congee) and both delivered the nostalgic taste!
Everything is great, the minute we opened the menu we were so attracted to the selections they offer, we tried the sea crab noodle, the beef rib noodle and the traditional pho. They use real sea crab meat in the soup and as you can see in the picture a giant beef rib bone served in the bowl. Their bean sprouts are poached so no worries of raw bean sprouts give you stomachaches. Will definitely revisit.
